Since that time I was able to read a suggestion from http://www.trainpetdog.com/dog-diet.html to provide homemade dog food to my dogs, I always take time to prepare for my dogs' food. Though it can be sometimes tedious but I am assured that my pets are spared from any additives and foreign objects that might affect their health.Doghttp://www.trainpetdog.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4955077234995938266.post-19397641824775422982010-08-25T14:27:06.114-04:002010-08-25T14:27:06.114-04:00Out of all the 40 years I cannot recall finding an...Out of all the 40 years I cannot recall finding anything as of yet in my dogs food. So, what did I happen to miss all of those years?! I will certainly be even more careful now when I feed. Most people hate their jobs and don't care in being careful when processing foods or whatever. I'm so glad you found this piece of glass. Gosh, and I've been feeding Diamond lately to my dog.Kathy Partchhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07659038664711640570noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4955077234995938266.post-42382522547988962232010-08-25T13:44:36.535-04:002010-08-25T13:44:36.535-04:00Before I actually sent the piece of glass back (th...Before I actually sent the piece of glass back (there goes your proof) I would take a photo of it next to a ruler and send them the photo. Tell them they can examine or have their representative examine the glass at your vets, and then put it in an envelope, date/time the day of discovery, the package it came from along with its serial number and give it to your vet to hold. Also date and initial the date it was given to the vet.
If nothing else it will scare the heck out of them.
So very glad you saw that. I hate to think what would happen if it ended up in a dog.

I had a similar problem with a product and they wanted it back and stupid me I sent it back thinking they were trustworthy. Last I heard of the matter.Brucehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00263413130171705126noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4955077234995938266.post-30076830663781262262010-08-25T13:42:44.563-04:002010-08-25T13:42:44.563-04:00Yes Barbara, it is a real stunner to discover an a...Yes Barbara, it is a real stunner to discover an additive in dog food that resembles a rubber dog toy, a piece of flea collar or a piece of glass! I have found the above 2 (not the glass, thank heavens), in canned Pedigree dog food. Easy to spot when it wouldn't chop up during the mixing process. So... what was that meat I was feeding??? With this discovery... and my vivid imagination... I have stopped buying canned dog food entirely. My stomach still lurches when I think of it.

Buyers Beware!!Kate Syssoloffhttp://www.rockannand.comnoreply@blogger.com
